Text messaging
Texts only when you choose them.
Kasama's transactional SMS program covers requested sign-in links, portal invitations, and appointment reminders. Dodecki Labs LLC operates Kasama. Text consent is optional and separate from email or service terms.
Current statusKasama text messages are not yet available. The options below describe how you will choose them when the service is ready.
How each path starts
01 / SIGN-IN LINK
You request a link
On an agency's portal sign-in page, you enter the mobile number already associated with your access and request a link. Choose text delivery for that request using its own unchecked box. You can use email instead.
02 / PORTAL INVITATION
Your agency invites you
Agency staff select a named person and a delivery channel. Giving staff your number does not sign you up for texts. You must agree before an invitation can be sent by text. Your agency can invite you by email instead.
03 / APPOINTMENT REMINDER
You opt in to reminders
You can choose appointment reminders separately. That choice starts off and you can turn it off later. The recipient control is being tested in the development portal.
Your choices
Text choices are optional, unchecked, and separate from email and acceptance of service terms. Sign-in link requests, invitation texts, and appointment reminders have distinct choices. Each choice names Kasama as the sender, says how often messages may arrive, and links to our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Message frequency varies with your requests and appointments. Message and data rates may apply.
DEV opt-in screen
The development portal currently shows separate, unchecked choices for a requested sign-in link, portal invitations, and appointment reminders. These screenshots were captured from the deployed DEV screen with a fictional 555 number and an example agency label. No form was submitted and no text was sent. This control is not active in production.

Control and help
Reply STOP to opt out of texts from the sending number. Reply HELP for assistance, or email michael@kasama.one. Choosing not to receive texts does not prevent access by other available channels. We do not use this program for marketing or agency-to-family conversations.
